Great Sand Dunes NP and Sange de Cristo Mountains

To its left is Crestone Peak (14,300 feet high). The farthest peak to the left is Kit Carson Peak (14,171 feet high). The sand dunes are at an elevation of about 7500 feet, and the tallest rise over 700 feet above the valley floor, making them the tallest in North America.
